About this role
Accountabilities:
- Assign daily workloads and operational responsibilities to Warehouse Supervisors and Leads.
- Oversee the staging and shipment of outbound products through LTL, parcel, and truckload transportation channels.
- Verify shipment documentation and ensure paperwork accurately reflects products and customer orders.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to ensure scheduled pickups occur on time and escalate delays or issues to terminal managers when necessary.
- Manage labor hours, staffing levels, and consumable supplies within established budgets and work schedules.
- Adjust staffing, shifts, and additional workdays as required to meet operational demands.
- Minimize freight damage by ensuring appropriate packaging procedures and implementing improvements when needed.
- Manage warehouse IT infrastructure, including wireless RF scanning systems and related operational technology.
- Drive performance toward a 95% on-time delivery target.
- Ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, cleanly, and in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen outbound warehouse processes.
- Recommend solutions to operational problems and support the implementation of process improvements.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal departments and external transportation partners.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of warehouse management experience, preferably with a strong background in outbound distribution operations.
- Demonstrated experience directly managing and leading warehouse employees, supervisors, or team leads.
- Experience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage competing operational priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical improvements.
- Strong understanding of shipment accuracy, transportation coordination, warehouse safety, labor management, and delivery performance.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience with XA or Manhattan warehouse systems is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically less than 10% of the time.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Typical Monday–Friday schedule from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedules subject to workload and operational requirements.
- Occasional Saturday work may be required.
