Role Details

Position: Prison Cleaner

Location: Cherry Creek Youth Justice Centre, Little River VIC

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Saturday to Wednesday |  8:30pm to 12:30am

Pay: From $35.20 per hour plus penalties and super

Contract: Permanent Part-Time

What You'll Be Doing

Clean and sanitise offices, bathrooms, toilets and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors and surfaces
Empty bins and manage waste removal
Restock consumables and cleaning supplies
Complete bio-cleaning when required

What We're Looking For

Previous cleaning experience is highly regarded
Reliable with a strong commitment to attendance and safety
Ability to work independently and follow procedures
Physically capable of completing cleaning duties throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

To Be Considered, You Must Have

A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
A National Police Check
A valid Employee Working With Children Check
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
No past or current connections or associations with individuals in Victorian correctional facilities
