Associate Product Specialist (Maternity Cover), Arla Foods Ingredients - Videbæk

Join Process & Technology Development, PTD, at Danmark Protein, part of Arla Foods Ingredients. In this position, you will build specialist knowledge within a product or ingredient area and act as an important link between Production, Quality, Planning, Logistics, Commercial, Innovation and R&D. You do not need to know everything from day one. Your curiosity and ability to involve the right colleagues will be essential as you learn to navigate our complex production environment.

How you will make an impact

In this maternity cover as an Associate Product Specialist, you will help ensure stable and efficient production processes while supporting implementation of new products and optimisation of existing ones. You will support production when quality or capacity challenges arise, use data to identify root causes and contribute to improvement projects across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities will be to

- Analyse production and process data, conduct structured root cause analyses and recommend solutions to operational, quality and capacity challenges.
- Support the optimisation of existing products and processes, including yield, losses, process variation and the efficient use of raw materials and resources.
- Contribute to NPD projects, including the implementation and start-up of new products, processes and production equipment.
- Coordinate activities and share technical process knowledge across Production, Quality, Product Management, Innovation, Commercial and AFI R&D.
- Drive improvement activities forward by engaging team leaders, super users, operators and other stakeholders, while communicating progress and following tasks through to completion.

What will make you successful

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within dairy, food science, process technology, quality, production or a related field. Alternatively, you may bring comparable practical experience from a production or process environment. Most importantly, you have a strong interest in process and production technology and enjoy turning data into practical improvements. You approach problems systematically and are comfortable investigating root causes before recommending a solution.

To succeed, you will need to

- Build strong working relationships across functions and proactively seek knowledge from relevant stakeholders.
- Take ownership, maintain momentum and follow assignments through, even when you do not have every answer at the outset.
- Navigate complexity with curiosity, combining attention to detail with an understanding of the wider production and business context.
- Have strong communication skills in both Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience with project management, Lean or Continuous Improvement, together with knowledge of MES, production data, HACCP, quality or EHS-related processes would be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite.
