[What the role is]
Senior Executive / Manager, Quality Assurance & Administration supports the Halal Development (HD) cluster in maintaining quality assurance standards and ensuring efficient administrative operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality management processes, maintaining cluster-wide records, and managing facilities and assets to support the effective delivery of Halal certification functions.
[What you will be working on]
- Lead and coordinate quality assurance (QA) processes for the cluster, including monitoring compliance with established standards, conducting internal reviews, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Lead the preparation, review, and periodic updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other quality management documentation to ensure processes remain current and compliant.
- Support and contribute to audit-related activities, including preparation for internal and external audits and follow-up on audit findings.
- Maintain the organisation-wide electronic registry (e-registry) for the cluster, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping in accordance with organisational documentation standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities management at the HD office, including liaising with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related matters.
- Manage the procurement, issuance, and maintenance of IT assets for the cluster .
- Contribute to the cluster's other initiatives and tasks as required .
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary education in Business, Management, Science, Engineering or related discipline; relevant professional certifications in quality systems will be an advantage.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance, administration, or operations; experience in a regulatory or certification environment will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices, preferably with knowledge of ISO standards.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Self-driven, independent, and able to work well with others across all levels.
Successful candidate will be appointed on a contract basis.
