Meet the Team
The Compliance Department at Millennium develops, implements, and enforces the Firm’s compliance program, including policies, procedures, processes, systems, controls, surveillance, testing, and reporting. The team works to help prevent and detect violations of applicable laws, rules, regulatory requirements, and Firm policies.
What You'll Do
- Support daily compliance activities and projects, including pre-onboarding calls, first-day compliance induction training, and ad hoc training.
- Help deliver employee compliance training and promote a strong compliance culture across the business.
- Support regulatory filings and notifications, licensing matters, and responses to inquiries from regulators and external counterparties.
- Prepare initial drafts of compliance documentation, including SFC license application forms for licensed representatives.
- Collect and review data for compliance reporting, including outside-interest reports, personal-account reconciliation reports, and management metrics.
- Maintain continuous professional training records for Hong Kong licensed representatives.
- Maintain compliance registers, logs, attestations, and records related to breaches, incidents, training, and policy acknowledgements.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings and conference calls; liaise with business stakeholders on compliance matters and support additional tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred, with a strong academic record.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry or at a law firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in English; Chinese language skills are preferred.
