About the Project:
We are Optiveum, and we are currently looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Client in the banking sector. You will be involved in the delivery of the Client's Finance receivables stream via a dedicated Contextual Monitoring solution. This is a large-scale initiative that includes new data integrations, scenario development, testing, and activation across four countries.
Your Responsibilities:
- Taking responsibility for the governance, oversight, and continuous management of Transaction Monitoring models and model-related regulatory commitments.
- Owning and maintaining the model management roadmap, translating financial crime strategy, risk priorities, regulatory requirements, and business needs into a clear and prioritized validation and governance plan.
- Driving model prioritization activities by balancing model risk, regulatory commitments, validation findings, technical sustainability, and capacity.
- Working closely with Capability Leads, Model Owners, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure model development, validation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring align with business objectives.
- Coordinating and overseeing model validation activities, ensuring findings, limitations, and risks are appropriately documented, tracked, and remediated.
- Partnering with Model Risk Management, Financial Crime, Technology, and Operations stakeholders to ensure validation requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
- Maintaining an end-to-end view of the model lifecycle, from model design and implementation through validation, approval, ongoing monitoring, and retirement.
- Overseeing the tracking and closure of model findings, audit observations, and risk acceptance actions, ensuring robust evidence of compliance.
What We Expect:
- Proven experience as a Project/Programme Manager within the banking or financial sector.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Experience delivering projects in a regulated environment and working with regulatory or audit requirements.
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks, issues, and remediation plans across multiple workstreams.
- Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear delivery plans.
- Strong governance, prioritization, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English and Polish (both written and spoken).
- Highly Recommended: Experience with projects in the Financial Crime, AML, or Transaction Monitoring areas.

- Deeper understanding of the Transaction Monitoring domain.
