About this role
Accountabilities:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and supporting students throughout their learning journey. You will combine effective lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, feedback, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a consistent and engaging educational experience.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons effectively and on time.
- Follow established schedules and adapt teaching approaches to the profile and needs of each class.
- Apply the appropriate teaching methodology while maintaining an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
- Teach students across different age groups and levels of English proficiency.
- Assign and correct homework, written assessments, and oral evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students understand their progress and areas for improvement.
- Record grades for assignments, assessments, and other activities in the school management system.
- Complete class records and maintain accurate attendance and lesson documentation.
- Prepare and submit report cards, reports, and other required documentation within established deadlines.
- Encourage students to use available digital and educational tools as complementary learning resources.
- Participate in pedagogical training sessions, educational events, and professional development activities.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on student experience and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a communicative, committed, and adaptable educator with strong English language proficiency and a genuine interest in helping students learn. You should be comfortable working with different learner profiles, using educational technology, and adapting teaching strategies to support effective learning outcomes.
- Strong command of all four English language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Previous experience teaching in language schools or educational institutions is desirable.
- Experience teaching students across different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Ability to apply and adapt teaching methodologies according to the needs of each class.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools for online and in-person teaching.
- Willingness to participate in training sessions and pedagogical events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to organize lessons, assessments, records, and other teaching responsibilities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, Translation, or a related field is desirable.
- English proficiency certifications such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge are desirable.
- Previous teaching experience within the same educational network and experience with its Conecta program are considered a plus.
