We currently have over 80 locations in twenty-six states coast-to-coast and have been in business for 30 years.

Lead the Way:

- Be the trusted leader for our furry guests and their people. Ensure pets feel safe, cared for, and loved at every moment.

- Oversee daily care routines like feeding, medicating, grooming, exercise, and playtime—creating happy tails and wagging smiles (must be able to lift large dogs).

- Keep meticulous records to guarantee each pets health and behavior is closely monitored.

Set the Standard for Excellence:

- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a best-in-class boarding facility.

- Handle emergencies with ease in collaboration with your District Manager.

- Stay ahead of regulations and ensure every corner of the facility meets or exceeds Best Friends Pet Care standards.

- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of 10+ dedicated animal care professionals in a positive work culture that celebrates open communication.

- Effectively serve as a liaison between frontline team members and headquarters staff, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring to the Table:

- A bachelors degree in Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).

- At least 2 years of management experience overseeing a team of 10+ employees(required).

- Hands-on animal care experience and a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare practices.

- A proactive, organized, and adaptable mindset in a bustling environment.

- Stellar communication skills and a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and lead.

- Financial management expertise, including payroll, budgets, and expense control.

- Desire to continue education and training with a dynamic pet care organization.
