About this role

Job Description: This position serves as a primary point of contact for patients receiving primary care and/or behavioral health services in a new integrated clinic. The role is primarily front desk focused and supports patient access, scheduling, communication, and clinic flow while also providing limited clinical support when needed. The Patient Service Representative is WellStone's connection to the clients by maintaining our connection between the clients and employees. This role assists in communicating our goal to ensure that all clients receive proper access to care and treatment needed. This is a full-time, hourly position that on Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm.

What youll be doing:

- Perform receptionist duties, acknowledging and assisting clients, visitors, vendors, etc.

- Perform data entry functions into computer.

- Answer the telephone in a timely manner.

- Verify, schedule, and reschedule appointments.

- Take messages for staff or route calls to voice mail.

- Answer questions and verify client demographic information in computer.

- Accept co-payments, key into computer, print receipts.

- Balance monetary amounts taken daily and submit to Accounting.

- Conduct reminder calls of appointments for the next day.

- Scan documents into computer, fax requested information.

- Inform Therapist of clients arrival, reschedule, schedule and confirm appointments.

- Provide documentation to clients who request appointment verification.

- Attend and complete required trainings.

- Attend staff meetings.

- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What were looking for:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge and proficiency with Computer

- Previous Customer Service experience
