Pharmacy Technician

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Every other weekend required (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and dispensing activities in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role is responsible for filling prescriptions, labeling and scanning medications, packaging orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accuracy and compliance under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

- Accurately fill and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification
- Label, scan, package, and organize medications for dispensing
- Pull medications from inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Process returned medications according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and all pharmacy regulations
- Support pharmacy operations through additional duties as assigned

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous pharmacy technician experience
- Experience with medication packaging, labeling, and scanning systems
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations and inventory management

Work Environment

Professional pharmacy setting requiring prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks. Overtime, holidays, and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
