About this role

Briarwood Ford is seeking a reliable and motivated Service Porter to join our team in Saline, MI. As a Service Porter, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our service department while providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

- Transport vehicles between service bays, customer parking areas, and other locations on the lot safely and efficiently.

- Maintain cleanliness of the service lot, parking areas, and service department.

- Assist technicians by delivering tools, parts, and materials as needed.

- Wash and vacuum vehicles to ensure they meet Briarwood Fords standards before returning them to customers.

- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and team members.

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and dealership policies.

Requirements

- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks including lifting and walking for extended periods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Previous experience as a porter or in a similar role is a plus but not required.

- Make key tags for vehicles.

- Wash customer vehicle.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to complete assigned tasks

- Self-starter with ability to work well as part of a team or independently

- Positive attitude and can-do mentality

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
