Detailer

A Detailer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restoring the appearance of vehicles or equipment, both inside and out. This role ensures a high-quality finish by using specialized tools, products, and techniques to maintain or enhance the condition of surfaces.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming

- Remove dirt, stains, and imperfections from surfaces

- Apply protective coatings such as wax, sealants, or ceramic coatings

- Clean upholstery, carpets, windows, wheels, and engine compartments

- Inspect vehicles for defects or damage and report findings

- Maintain detailing tools, equipment, and work area in clean and working condition

- Follow safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals

- Ensure all work meets company quality standards

Skills & Qualifications:

- Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

- Ability to work with hands and use detailing tools/equipment

- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques (preferred)

- Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting)

- Time management and ability to meet deadlines

- Strong work ethic and reliability

Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

- Previous detailing or cleaning experience (an asset but not always required)
