About this role

Job Title: Experienced Superintendent - Base-Build We are seeking an experienced superintendent with a strong base-build experience to join our project team. This role involves overseeing the construction of a 21,000-square-foot mental health facility, consolidating mental health programs into one comprehensive location. Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage construction activities on site daily.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction processes.
- Ensure site safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Manage interactions with owners and executives to ensure project alignment.
- Document and maintain accurate project records.

Essential Skills

- 5+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent.
- Experience with projects ranging from $1-10 million.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Strong subcontractor management skills.
- OSHA 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in interior retail, office space, and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in site safety and construction management.
- Strong computer and documentation skills.
- Experience managing larger project teams.

Work Environment The role involves working on-site in either an office or project trailer. The construction environment requires interaction with both office and field personnel and exposure to various site conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bowie, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
