Job Purpose:
- The Donor Data & Development Coordinator at Utah Food Bank plays a crucial role in managing donor information and supporting fundraising efforts to ensure the organization can effectively combat hunger across the state. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate donor records, analyzing data for strategic insights, and assisting in the development and execution of donor engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update donor databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Analyze donor data to identify trends and opportunities for increased engagement and fundraising.
- Collaborate with the development team to create and implement donor cultivation and retention strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations on donor activities and fundraising efforts for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for donor-related initiatives.
- Respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service to enhance donor satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of donor engagement strategies and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices in donor data management and fundraising activities.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in donor data management or development coordination within a nonprofit organization.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems, specifically in managing donor databases and generating reports.
- Familiarity with the food bank sector and its unique challenges and opportunities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
