Commercial Millwork Estimator
📍 Charlotte, NC Are you an experienced estimator with a background in commercial millwork, cabinetry, and architectural casework ? Join a growing team where you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive estimates for high-profile commercial projects while working alongside project management, engineering, and operations teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project addenda.
- Perform detailed takeoffs for commercial millwork, cabinetry, casework, countertops, trim, wall panels, and custom woodwork.
- Develop accurate material, labor, installation, and subcontractor cost estimates.
- Identify scope gaps, project risks, exclusions, and discrepancies before bid submission.
- Solicit, analyze, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare competitive proposals and manage multiple bid opportunities simultaneously.
- Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure seamless project handoff after award.
- Maintain estimate records and project information within an ERP-driven environment.
What We're Looking For
✅ Experience estimating commercial millwork, architectural casework, cabinetry, or related construction projects ✅ Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications ✅ Proven experience with detailed takeoffs, material quantification, and cost estimating ✅ Bluebeam or similar takeoff software experience ✅ Strong Excel and overall computer proficiency ✅ Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
