Role Overview

As a Nurse Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform specific patient care duties, provide valuable input for patient care plans, and respond to emergent situations. Your contributions are essential to delivering high-quality care and supporting our healthcare team.

What You Will Do

- Assist in meeting the safety and comfort needs of patients under the direction of an RN.
- Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

- CNA certification preferred.
