About this role
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about menu items.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
- Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Upsell additional menu items and beverages to increase sales.
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent service and create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- TABC certification (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) may be required.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
