Job Summary

GetWell HealthSystems is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The FNP will provide high-quality primary and preventive care to patients across a variety of age groups while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

This is a part-time, on-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM .

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services to patients.

- Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and health histories.

- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions.

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Indiana regulations and clinical guidelines.

- Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other appropriate evaluations.

- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.

- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.

- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.

- Provide referrals to specialists and other healthcare services when appropriate.

- Promote preventive care, wellness, and disease-management strategies.

- Follow all applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.

- Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate approach with patients and their families.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing program.

- Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the State of Indiana .

- Current APRN certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

- Current BLS certification.

- DEA registration or ability to obtain one, if required for the position.

- Previous primary care or family practice experience preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
