Fields Volvo Northfield is looking for a motivated Product Specialist to join our sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer-service skills who wants to get into the automotive industry without needing previous dealership experience.
You don't need to know everything about cars. We'll teach you the products, technology, and sales process. What matters most is that you're personable, confident, curious, reliable, and comfortable working with customers.
What you'll do
- Welcome customers and create a great first impression
- Learn Volvo's vehicles, features, technology, and safety systems
- Demonstrate vehicles and explain features in a way customers can understand
- Help customers find the vehicle that best fits their needs
- Assist Sales Consultants throughout the sales process
- Set up new vehicles and teach customers how to use their new technology
- Follow up with customers and assist with questions after their visit
- Work with a professional sales team in a fast-paced environment
- Build the product knowledge and customer skills needed to advance within the dealership

Automotive experience is a plus, but it is not required.
Retail, hospitality, technology, customer service, restaurant, wireless, fitness, or other customer-facing experience can translate very well to this position.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Candidates must also be willing to complete a pre-employment background check.
