Store Clerk (3 Positions)

Job Summary:

Biigtigong Nishnaabeg invites community members interested in working a part-time position as a store clerk. This position will include evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience in customer service or related role

- Previous experience operating a point-of-sale system (POS)

- Ability to work independently and as a team member

- Effective and strong communications skills both written and verbal

- Basic computer skills

- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/store merchandise as required

- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Operate point of sale system- handle financial transactions accurately and effectively

- Provide positive customer service experiences

- Assist with deliveries or moving stock supplies

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves

- Follow all safety procedures outlined for job tasks

- Contribute to the team in a positive, energetic, friendly manner

- Assist with tracking inventory
