We’re seeking a Field Technician to join our Radon Mitigation team. In this role, you’ll install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems, support customers by teaching them how to use their equipment, troubleshoot issues in the field, and ensure all work aligns with company standards and procedures.

We Think You're a Great Fit If You:
Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands‑on work
Have 1 or more years of experience in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance is preferred.
Take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Can work independently and follow established procedures
Are dependable, organized, and punctual
Are comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders
Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
What You Will Be Doing:
Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and post‑installation testing
Educate customers on system operation and maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and warehouse space
Occasionally perform light digging or excavation at job sites
Document job details according to company policy
Represent Protect Environmental in a professional, customer‑focused manner
Respond promptly to customer concerns and service needs
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building maintenance is a plus
This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing ladders and lifting of equipment.
The job requires good physical health and ability to perform hands on construction work.
Capable of occasionally working in crawl spaces, in attics and on roofs
Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds
Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
Ability to obtain NRPP certification for radon mitigation within required timeline
