About this role

Seeking a Leave Specialist to join a recognized Columbus, OH employer! This role offers significant training and great for HR candidates interested in learning the Leaves administration space. Description Initiates absence management database processes through utilization of integrated disability management protocols while providing department administrative support. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: 1. Follow pre-defined absence management case workflows within the absence management database to classify absence management cases for further work by Integrated Disability Specialists. 2. Communicate with employee via phone and e-mail to obtain additional information regarding their absence request. 3. Prepare absence case notes to document case activities in compliance with standard practices and regulations. 4. Provide initial troubleshooting support for employees who are having difficulty in entering an absence management case into the databse. Create absence management cases within the absence management databse for supervisors or employees who may be unable to do so. 5. Manage all Integrated Disability Recovery Center incoming and outgoing hard copy mail including case management communications prepared by Integrated Disability Specialists 6. Work within AEP's Accounts Payable systems to process invoices from vendors reimbursements issued to employees or membership dues. 7. Monitor and respond to calls left on the Integrated Disability Recovery Center group voicemail and e-mail boxes. 8. Maintain confidential employee records and personal identifiable information. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
