This position is part of the leadership team. oversees a Human Resource Generalist, and reports directly to the CEO. This person will manage the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leaves, developing and enforcing company policies and practices.
Specfic duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Provides counsel and leadership to regarding employee relations matters including employee disciplinary situations, internal investigations and terminations.
Manages company benefit programs including enrollment, leaves of absence and cost analysis.
Responsible for compensation policy and practices including annual wage surveys
Maintains compliance with state and federal laws, reviews and updates policies and procedures particularly related to leaves of absence.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies as affects recruiting, retention and employment law
Maintains records of all mandatory and compliance training

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required and at least (5) Fives of Human Resource management experience preferred.
