Maintenance Team Member

Kiski School, a college-preparatory   co-educational boarding school   in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a skilled and reliable   Maintenance Team Member to join our facilities team. This individual will play a vital role in the daily upkeep of the school’s campus—including dormitories, academic buildings, athletic facilities, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance around campus

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpentry.

- Assist with campus event setup and breakdown (furniture moving, equipment transport, etc.).

- Support seasonal facilities work, including snow removal and grounds maintenance.

- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency repair needs, especially those involving electrical systems.

- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and school policies.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Experience in general building maintenance and repair.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in varying weather conditions.

- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Trade certifications in additional areas (plumbing, HVAC , etc.) a plus.

- Experience working in a school, campus, or residential facility setting.
