Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician who takes pride in the performance of a diverse set of hands-on duties to keep facilities in top shape!

Duties/Responsibilities

- Groundskeeping – landscaping including but not limited to weed-whacking, edging, mulching, leaf and snow removal
- General repairs that do not require a specialized technician e.g., Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, General Carpentry
- Routine inspection of buildings and grounds to determine needed repairs
- Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs
- Tracking maintenance, repair and warranty records and reports
- Performing routine maintenance on building systems e.g., changing filters in water sources and HVAC inside the building
- Ordering supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
- Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience

- General carpentry and repairs
- Lawn care and groundskeeping
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC
- Painting experience
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Good work ethic - reliable, hardworking and trustworthy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current valid driver’s license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years in building trades and/or building maintenance experience is required.

Physical Requirements

- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Capable of performing sustained manual labor
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Work Schedule

- 8-hour shift (Daylight)
- Monday through Friday
- Ability to respond to building-related emergencies outside of normal business hours on rare occasions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
