Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. is currently looking for a Machining Night Shift (3rd Shift) Team Leader to help guide operations in our Aluminum Die Casting facility. This is a hands-on leadership position where youll work directly with the production team to keep machining operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. We are hiring for 3 positions currently.

What You'll Do

As a Machining Team Leader , youll play a key role in keeping the machining department operating smoothly and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supporting the Machining Department team

- Monitoring production activities and helping the team meet department goals

- Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and helping improve them when needed

- Assisting with machine setups and tool changes

- Troubleshooting machines and assisting with repairs

- Performing preventative maintenance and routine machine checks

- Maintaining Safety and Quality standards

- Participating in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities , including defect investigations, cost-saving ideas, and process improvements

- Supporting additional operational needs as assigned

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Kanban experience is a plus

- Previous leadership experience is ideal

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

- Frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, and lifting

- Regular computer use

- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
