Department: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
Hoehn Plastics, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team.
Environmental Services Technicians play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, organized, and well-supplied work environments throughout our manufacturing facilities and offices. This is an active, hands-on position responsible for routine cleaning, facility upkeep, supply management, and supporting established environmental, safety, and workplace standards.

Starting Pay: $18.50
Performance-Based pay reviews at 90 days and Annually
What You’ll Do
As an Environmental Services Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining assigned plant and office areas while helping ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and ready for daily operations.
• Perform routine and detailed cleaning throughout assigned manufacturing, common, restroom, breakroom, and office areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and perform other general and deep-cleaning activities as assigned.
• Collect and remove trash and other designated waste from assigned areas.
• Complete laundry and other facility-support tasks as needed.
• Monitor, stock, and replenish cleaning products, paper products, and other assigned supplies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and help keep floors, walkways, and common areas free of debris and trip hazards.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, maintenance concerns, supply needs, or other facility issues.
• Complete assigned daily work and required task documentation.
• Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow departmental, facility, and company safety requirements.
• Respond professionally to reasonable cleaning and facility-support requests from Team Members and leadership.
• Support special cleaning projects, facility needs, and other assigned Environmental Services activities.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workplace, can work independently, and understands the importance of consistency and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and verbal or written instructions.
• Dependable and punctual attendance.
• Ability to prioritize assigned responsibilities and complete work within established timeframes.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, supplies, tools, and equipment associated with the position.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with Team Members and leadership.
• Previous commercial, industrial, janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial.

Physical & Work Environment
This is an active, hands-on position within office and heavy industrial manufacturing environments. The role requires extended periods of standing and walking, along with frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching overhead and below the knees, pushing, pulling, and other physical activity associated with cleaning and facility upkeep. Team members must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
The work environment may include exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dust, forklift traffic, cleaning products and chemicals, and industrial processing equipment. Certain work areas may also contain strong magnetic fields that could affect medical devices, including implants and pacemakers.
