Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our comprehensive laboratory operations under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
- M-F 0600-1430 (flexible and can vary upon staffing needs) May be required to work night shift or weekend shift to maintain minimum staffing levels.
- Oversees daily operations.
- Establishes and monitors key metrics for accurate and timely work of staff.
- Makes operational decisions to facilitate optimal workflow and patient care services.
- Serve as subject matter expert for clinical laboratory analysis and instrument operation.
- Hires, trains and supervises staff.
- Manages scheduling and timekeeping for staff.
- Evaluates staff performance.
- Maintains strong technical skills for area of oversight.
- Associate's degree required
- Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist
- 2-4 years of experience preferred
