Over the course of   10-12 weeks, as an IT SAP Intern, you'll work in Garner, NC. This internship's goal will be to identify a technology-based improvement opportunity and devise and manage the SAP project plan for implementation. This individual will work closely with a Senior Project Manager. This could entail a brand-new project or building from an existing project.  

The programs primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development   and a   series of assignments that aligns with professional interest within the processing and manufacturing industry.  

What youll do:

- Maintain the integrated SAP project schedule by tracking milestones, identifying overdue activities and following up with workstream leads.

- Prepare status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and project updates covering schedule, scope, risks, issues, resources, and milestones.

- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.

- Learn project management methodologies, SAP implementation practices, and how large IT projects are governed.

- Pursuing a Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2028 through June 2030.

- All participants in this program are required to have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work.

- There will be frequent travel to our plants and live operation locations depending on project needs.

- The individual in this role will be required to initiate, lead, and follow through on conversations, presentations, and training, and should be comfortable with public speaking.

- This role requires a balance of technical, analytical thinking as well as being personable and able to make connections to further implement change on an enterprise level.

- Strong business acumen - ability to understand the impact of IT on different parts of the business.
