The Internal Audit Senior Manager, Transformation is responsible for leading independent audit coverage over QBE’s enterprise transformation agenda, including the Enterprise Transformation Office, material transformation programs and projects, and relevant transformation governance arrangements. The role provides senior audit leadership across transformation governance, delivery risk, delivered risk, value realisation, portfolio reporting, controls, assurance coordination and emerging transformation risk themes. The role supports the Head of Audit, Technology, Cyber and Transformation[BM1.1] in delivering the audit plan, evaluating transformation risk across QBE globally and providing clear thematic transformation insights for senior management and Board reporting.
The role will also act as the lead transformation assurance specialist within Group Internal Audit, helping to build a sustainable Transformation Centre of Excellence, develop common methods and tools, transfer specialist knowledge to audit teams globally and improve the consistency and quality of transformation assurance across the function.

The opportunity

The Internal Audit Senior Manager, Transformation   is responsible for   leading independent audit coverage over QBE’s enterprise transformation agenda, including the Enterprise Transformation Office, material transformation programs and projects, and relevant transformation governance arrangements. The role provides senior audit leadership across transformation governance, delivery risk, delivered risk, value   realization , portfolio reporting, controls, assurance   coordination   and emerging transformation risk themes. The role supports the Head of Audit, Technology, Cyber and   Transformation[ BM1.1] in delivering the audit plan, evaluating transformation risk across QBE globally and providing clear thematic transformation insights for senior management and Board reporting.

Your new role

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead end-to-end audits and reviews of enterprise transformation programs, project governance arrangements, and the Enterprise Transformation Office

- Develop and   maintain   a risk-based transformation audit universe covering strategic initiatives across Group and Divisional portfolios

- Monitor transformation programs and   identify   emerging delivery, governance, and value realisation risks across the organisation

- Provide insightful reporting and thematic analysis to senior management and Board stakeholders on transformation performance and risk trends

- Establish and lead the Transformation Centre of Excellence, driving best practices, methodologies, tools, and knowledge sharing across Internal Audit

- Partner with stakeholders across Transformation, Risk, Finance, Technology, PMOs, and the business while   maintaining   audit independence and objectivity

About you

- Significant experience   in internal audit, transformation assurance, project assurance, risk management, or a related discipline

- Strong knowledge of transformation governance, program delivery, portfolio management, delivery risk, and benefits realisation frameworks

- Proven ability to lead complex audits or reviews and provide constructive challenge to senior stakeholders

- Excellent communication skills, including experience preparing Executive and Board-level reporting

- Strong analytical capability with the ability to   identify   enterprise-wide trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

- Professional qualifications in Internal Audit, Accounting, Risk, Project Management, or a related field (e.g. CIA, CA, CPA, CISA, PMP) highly regarded

Experience overseeing large-scale business, technology, regulatory, or operational transformation programs within financial services, insurance, or other complex regulated environments will be highly regarded.
