Sr. QA Automation

Accountabilities

- Plan and execute functional, exploratory, manual, and automated tests to validate product quality and reliability.

- Design clear, comprehensive test scenarios and test plans based on technical and functional requirements.

- Develop and maintain automated tests for front-end applications using Cypress and JavaScript.

- Perform API testing using tools and technologies such as Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, or equivalent solutions.

- Validate application behavior across different scenarios, identify risks, and report defects with clear documentation and traceability.

- Maintain and improve automation frameworks and testing practices to support efficient and repeatable quality assurance.

- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Support CI/CD quality practices using tools such as Azure DevOps and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

- Analyze test results, investigate issues, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

- Proven experience working as a QA professional within agile software development teams.

- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing, including functional and exploratory testing.

- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Cypress for test automation.

- Experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, or similar tools.

- Knowledge of front-end and API test automation concepts and best practices.

- Ability to analyze technical and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test plans.

- Experience documenting test cases, defects, and testing results with clarity and traceability.

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying defects and quality risks.

- Good communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for professional communication.
