About this role
General Description:
- Review production schedules and determine component requirements for all production lines operating within the next 24 hours.
- Build and prepare component kits based on production demands and machine requirements.
- Pick inventory from warehouse locations and transfer materials to inventory location 3030 for production use.
- Stage completed kits and required materials at designated production machines before scheduled runs.
- Monitor material usage and coordinate with production teams during machine changeovers.
- Return any unused components or materials resulting from machine changeovers back to warehouse inventory location 3025.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and material movement records.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper material handling practices.
- Keep staging and warehouse areas organized, clean, and safe.
- Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and production support needs to supervisors and appropriate personnel.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and inventory control procedures.
- Other job duties assigned.
Qualifications
Work experience requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, inventory control, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems preferred.
- Ability to read and follow production schedules and work instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
