Job Details
- Deliver retail freight on local routes in the Chicago area.
- Longest round trip is approximately 91 miles.
- Complete a minimum of two loads per day.
- Approximately 95% drop-and-hook freight.
- Approximately 5% of deliveries require pallet-jack unloading.
- Pallet-jack unloading is paid.
Shift Details
- Home Time: Home daily
- Six-day workweek followed by a 34-hour reset
- Set days off may become available in the future.
- Night driving is required.
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting
- Ability to work a six-day schedule and night shifts
- Ability to perform occasional pallet-jack unloading
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
