About this role
Accountabilities:
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Supply Planning processes and procedures within the broader S&OP process.
- Develop and maintain rough-cut capacity planning and network capacity analyses at value stream, plant, and subgroup levels to identify constraints, capacity gaps, and opportunities to better align supply with demand.
- Analyze manufacturing value streams and production flows based on changing demand characteristics and planning requirements.
- Support production planning and scheduling by analyzing production requirements, inventory positions, capacity constraints, and demand priorities.
- Participate in recurring production and supply planning reviews, highlighting risks, deviations from plan, and potential solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze supply chain dashboards and KPIs, including schedule adherence and attainment, On-Time Delivery, fill rate, inventory levels, days of supply, and other planning metrics.
- Analyze planning assumptions and production rates, including hours per unit, efficiencies, and demonstrated versus planned capacity, and recommend appropriate updates.
- Develop and maintain statistical inventory models to establish target finished-goods and raw-material inventory levels.
- Support the development and maintenance of inventory policies, including safety stock levels, stocking strategies, replenishment parameters, economic order quantities, and Kanban sizing.
- Partner with manufacturing, sales, finance, and other cross-functional teams to investigate supply, inventory, and capacity challenges.
- Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to support operational and business decisions.
- Contribute to process documentation, workflow development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or another analytical discipline is required.
- 2–5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Operational Finance, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Demand Planning and/or Supply Planning.
- Experience working with best-in-class ERP/MRP systems, including system usage, calibration, and parameter setting.
- Strong proficiency with analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Ability to analyze complex numerical information and communicate findings clearly to different audiences.
- Ability to present information effectively to senior and top-level management.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly when working with manufacturing, sales, and finance teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to make sound, timely decisions while considering relevant stakeholders and available data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present numerical and operational information effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, openness to feedback, respect for different perspectives, and the ability to work constructively through challenges.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage individual responsibilities while contributing to team objectives.
- Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing operational priorities.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- This is an individual contributor position with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
