We are seeking
a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. This role
involves editing video content, developing animations, and creating visually
compelling designs to support multimedia projects.

Main
Responsibilities

- Edit
video pieces
- Trim
video segments and assemble the sequence of the videos
- Reorder
and fine-tune the video content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
of the videos
- Evaluate
and review edited video footage to ensure that it matches the story from
different scripts
- Evaluate
and review edited video footage to ensure that it matches the narrative of the
Product Development Director
- Combine
video footage with different audio sound effects and soundtracks to create a
dramatic effect
- Develop
animations for video footages
- Perform
video color correction
- Participate
in video recording sessions
- Develop
design briefs by gathering information and data through research
- Think
creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Use
innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
- Contribute
with ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
- Keep
abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs
such as After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Organize
and manage multiple projects in various stages of progress
- Present
and pitch ideas, briefs, and concepts to various parties
- Develop
an understanding of the target audience and the market
- Work
cohesively within a multi-departmental team that is responsible for the
research, development, and launch of new products
- Translate
objectives into creative strategies
- Contribute
to the implementation of new initiatives
- Perform
other related duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

- A degree is preferred in Graphic Design or related field; or
a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
- Excellent written and spoken English
communication skills
- 2+ years of professional experience in video editing
and graphic design
- Knowledge of Adobe programs (After Effects,
Premiere Pro) is mandatory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) is mandatory
- Proficiency in macOS (Apple) operating system
- Ability to work effectively with people at various
levels throughout the organization
- Must work well under pressure, grasp new ideas
quickly, think outside the box, and be able to follow-up in a dynamic
environment
- Must have strong organizational and time
management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high pace, dynamic
environment
- Possesses good verbal and written communication
skills with the ability to present work from concept to final execution
- Willing to learn and grow as well as to
challenge and contribute to ideas
- Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced work
environment
- Work well independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive

- Have working knowledge or prior experience in
designing animation and motion graphics is an advantage
