About this role

Are you the creative and innovative Development Engineer who wants to work with our team to bring a new generation of industrial heat pumps and refrigeration compressors to market? Will you help our customers become more sustainable with our energy-efficient and CO2-emission-free solutions?

For our historic factory in Den Bosch we are looking for a Product Development Engineer.

Responsibilities / Tasks

The primary responsibility of the development engineer is the creation of new designs for compressors, units, systems and components and making them ready for production with the target to further improve reliability, energetic efficiency and cost profile of the product .

Your responsibilities:

- Development, engineering, coordination and implementation of design changes and new designs
- Performing simulation, engineering calculations and cost price calculations
- Making sketches, diagrams 3D models and drawings for quotation, classification and production purposes
- Making test programs
- Providing data for manuals and documentation materials
- Maintenance of design data in PLM system
- Making and executing of project plans

Your Profile / Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Affinity with compressor thermodynamics, flow dynamics, and rotating equipment.
- Interest in refrigeration and heat pump technologies.
- Experience in the development of compressors, combustion engines, or similar mechanical systems is considered a strong advantage.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a plus.
- Experience with simulation tools, 3D design, FEM analysis, and CAD data management systems. Experience with Creo is an advantage.
- Creative and innovative in solving technical challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
