Job Purpose
The Strategic Account Manager (Hushoffice) is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities with prospective and target (competitor-held) accounts to achieve established sales targets within the assigned territory. Increase revenue from strategic accounts. Develop and implement focused strategic plans aligned with business objectives to enhance effectiveness, increase market share, and achieve sales goals.
A glimpse of your daily mission
- Build and manage the sales pipeline for the assigned territory, driving opportunities through the sales cycle to successful closure by actively targeting key client groups – especially Architecture & Design (A&D) firms, Acoustic Consultants, Real Estate, Project Management, large corporate end users and government. Methods to include:
a) establish contact and develop relationships with senior managers of key client groups
b) gathering information and tracking leads
c) working with Sales Managers (SM) and General Sales Managers (GSM) of partner distributors to develop strategic alignment programs with select A&D and other key indirect accounts
d) developing and leading Hushoffice product presentations
- Identify upselling opportunities for major accounts.
- Develops and implements business plans to increase new business and expansion opportunities to achieve maximum account penetration; holds self-accountable for achieving assigned goals and objectives.
- Forecast sales over a 30-60-90-day horizon based on pipeline opportunities, and work with Sales Managers (SM), General Sales Managers (GSM), and Global Account Managers (GAM) of partner distributors to develop winning strategies and close business.
- Develop and deliver impactful sales and solution strategy presentations based on "product-for-project" concepts to key influencers and senior decision-makers, demonstrating the value of Hushoffice solutions.
- Conduct sales presentations to customers and other key client groups, offering products and solutions that meet client expectations while supporting the Hushoffice product development strategy.
- Identify, recruit, and develop new distributors for Hushoffice solutions within the assigned territory.
- Assist in developing Marketing strategies for Hushoffice products and services.
- Actively work to gain market intelligence, including information on competitive products, competitors' activities, industry trends, upcoming projects, and other relevant market intelligence.
- Work closely with the sales operations teams of partner distributors to complete the sales cycle.
- Work closely with A&D Managers and Client Experience Associates (CEAs) to ensure leads are exchanged and to give the customer a seamless experience.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the team.
a) Positively lead and influence team members to collaborate effectively across the organization to achieve individual, team and business goals
b) Coach team members and support the development of sales processes, tools, and customer-facing skills.
- Support key strategic projects led by partner distributors on an ad hoc basis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex B2B sales cycles, preferably within the office furniture, workplace solutions, interiors, architecture, construction, or related industries.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to build relationships with senior managers and decision-makers.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
- Experience in developing new revenue streams.
- Ability to develop good quality proposals and present to a large audience.
- Ability to facilitate customer solutions workshops or similar sessions.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to sales.
