Job Description
Hybrid role: District Sales Manager Slovakia & Product Manager for Czechia and Slovakia. This role will support our new CZSK HemOnc & Rare Disease structure.
Fulltime Amgen employee, permanent contract
Reporting to: Associate Dir Business Unit Oncology and Rare Disease

Accountabilities to (Associate) Director Business Unit
- Maximises revenue and market share in the region by driving sales activity and providing leadership to the field force
- Maximises the brand potential at national level and leads commercial strategy . Delivers branding campaign in line with international guidance .
- Develops and implements Country/Cluster Brand Plan in full congruence with International Brand Plan and translates it into regional plans
- Designs and executes promotional activities in line with international branding and key messages
- Analyses the sales performance of the relevant brands in the territory and identifies key levers for action . Proposes national sales target and achieves agreement with Business Unit Leader
- Keeps business unit team informed of any market changes / competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and development
- Ensures execution of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by development of territory plans (Plan Of Actions) with team members
- Monitors implementation of plan of actions throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time, costs, compliance and quality parameters
- Monitors, evaluates and acts on field force metrics and standards to maximize sales force effectiveness from a quantitative and qualitative perspective
- Coaches and motivates team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimise individual and team engagement as well as their career growth
- Conducts sales meetings to guide team
- Supports the team members on external key customer visits as needed
- Partners with the Medical Affairs Manager to optimise the brand performance (goals of clinical trials, KOL development, etc.)
- Recruits and manages external vendors
- Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases
- Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans

- Product f orecast and a greed regional sales goals and other performance KPIs
- Administration and reporting requirements ; Compliance with Amgen policies

Mininum Requirements
• Academic education or experience from similar positions • >3 years track-record of success in pharmaceutical selling and marketing • Demonstrated leadership abilities • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications • Financial and budgeting skills and experience • Documented track record of product launch
Preferred Requirements
• 8+ years of industry experience in sales and marketing roles (hospital market) • Proven experience of managing a sales or marketing team • Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences • Relative experience in relevant therapy area • Experience in interacting with various disciplines and organizational levels • Experience in project management

Salary Range
44,604.60 EUR - 60,347.40 EUR
