Calling all Civil Engineering Undergrads!

Collins offers an opportunity for a civil engineering student to gain experience in the transportation industry. The Port Arthur, Texas, office has an opening for a Civil Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027 . This position will be a combination of office and time in the field.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities :

- Performs structural inspections and prepares inspection reports.

- Prepares and/or checks structural calculations.

- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.

- Field work will be required.

- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

Junior or senior working towards a bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
Previous software experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D is a plus.
Previous software experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF or other PDF editing software is a plus.
A valid driver's license.
