Job Description Summary:

As a key member of the Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) Team, the Energy & Sustainability Manager will lead the development and execution of the site’s sustainability and environmental strategy in partnership with plant leadership.

This exciting role will focus on driving measurable improvements in sustainability performance by setting clear priorities, applying technical expertise, and implementing high-impact initiatives aligned with the organisation’s sustainability vision. The Manager will ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability standards, while integrating sustainability goals into operational decision-making.

Responsibilities include designing,   coordinating   and implementing environmental   /   s ustainability   programs that meet regulatory obligations and company policies.     The successful candidate will serve as the primary advisor on   energy /   environmental matters, providing direction, guidance, and oversight to ensure operational excellence in energy and sustainability performance.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

- Lead continuous improvement of the site’s Environmental Management System to meet and   maintain   compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO   14068   and Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standards .

- Review and update environmental risk assessments on a regular basis to proactively address risks and opportunities.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate environmental standards (including KORE requirements) by conducting compliance assessments and driving robust corrective action plans.

- Develop and execute the annual sustainability program in collaboration with plant leadership and functional   teams;   monitor rollout progress against planned   objectives .

- Support change management initiatives that embed sustainability practices into operational culture and processes.

- Deliver environmental training programs, including onboarding training for new associates, contractors, and temporary personnel, as well as targeted technical training to build capabilities within the   organisation .

- Develop and implement a comprehensive energy and sustainability strategy across all site operations.

- Monitor, analyze, and report on energy consumption, water use, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions.

- Identify   and execute initiatives to reduce energy usage, improve efficiency, and lower operational costs.

- Previous   experience with energy audits, metering,   monitoring   and data analytics

- Knowledge of   r enewable energy,   e nergy   s torage   systems   and   m icro- g rid system.

- Ensure   accurate   and   timely   sustainability data reporting to leadership and relevant stakeholders.

- Ensure site preparedness for potential environmental incidents; lead investigations, implement corrective action plans, and apply learnings to prevent recurrence.

- Develop and deliver a water management roadmap, including project pipelines, CAPEX planning, water reduction initiatives, replenish projects, and strategies

- Lead decarbonization initiatives to achieve Zero Carbon   Emissions   including renewable energy adoption, efficiency improvements, and support for scope 3 emission reductions across transportation, packaging, and ingredient supply chains.

- Provide subject matter   expertise   to the global Environment Network, influencing local and global environmental policies and CPS sustainability guidelines.

- Oversee waste management programs, including wastewater compliance, hazardous waste handling, waste recovery, and recycling initiatives.

Education   r equirements   & related work experience

- Bachelor’s /   Master's   degree in a relevant discipline such as:   Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering/Management

- Sustainability, Climate & Energy Management

- 7 + years   in   Environment/sustainability   experience

- Proficient in   English, both verbal and written.

- Results‑driven , p roactive   and   resilient

- Comfortable   operating in   complex , fast‑ paced   industrial   environments

- Strong   problem‑solving   and   decision‑making   capability

- Project management knowledge and experience .
