Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver parts, equipment, and paperwork to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Daily contact will be with all departments to see what is needed and coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.
- You will verify invoices to purchase orders with each pickup. Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed at the time of delivery.
- The parts delivery driver organizes deliveries to maximize efficiency and maintains a schedule at the store that shows pick-up and delivery times.
- Responsible for basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including keeping the gas tank full, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections and service are completed.
- At times will work inside to stock and pull parts and assist at the parts counter.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the local area and efficient routes.
- Ability to lift and carry parts, sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
