This position is responsible for ensuring all projects are started and executed in a clear, precise, and timely fashion; ensuring the required labor and material are supplied to the production floor, and staff is meeting quality and efficiency targets while operating within companys Safe Practices. Success will require being detail oriented and possessing organizational skills in order to excel in a deadline driven environment, meeting internal and external customer requirements.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):
- Maintain personnel structure needed to accomplish the production schedule in an effective and efficient manner.
- Coordinate production line startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
- Monitor and report on performance of production lines.
- Ensure production lines meet quality and efficiency targets.
- Create and maintain department related guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Provide directions and lead team.
- Regularly interface with manufacturing, purchasing, and sales personnel on material status and issues in order to adhere to schedule.
- Create a team atmosphere that promotes camaraderie.
- Write and deliver regular performance reviews in a timely manner.
- In the absence of the Operations Assistant, perform the quality review of batch records; Operations and/or Quality Manager notification will be made regarding final product failures.
- Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies.
- Display and promote company values (ASPIRE: Attitude, Safety, Passion, Integrity, Relationship, and Evolve)
- Firm understanding and compliance with companys Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices
- Regular attendance

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree in a relatable field preferred
- A minimum of 2+ years of management and/or leadership experience preferred.
- A minimum of 3+ years experience in a relatable field preferred
- Experience with ERP software preferred.
- Previous Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GMPs, OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
- Knowledge of metric and dashboard development preferred.
