Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring a Clinical Rehab Lead to our Pediatric Acute Care Rehab Services team in Jacksonville, FL.
This is a Full-Time opportunity working a Day shift schedule at our main Wolfson Children's Hospital campus in downtown Jacksonville . The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical patient care experience in an interdisciplinary acute care setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary discipline-specific resource for recommending and facilitating the provision of effective clinical care practices throughout the acute care Wolfson Rehabilitation Services team.
- Part time provision of direct acute care setting is required.
- The development of evidenced-based clinical standards of practice.
- Continuous quality improvement and staff competency requirements for clinical practice in the acute care setting.
- Provides support to all the acute care Wolfson rehab therapists.
Experience Requirements:
- 5 or more year(s) of pediatric clinical patient care experience Required
- 5 or more years of Acute Care experience Required
- 3-5 years of interdisciplinary teamwork experience Required
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Florida Department of Health License Required in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, OR Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (if SLP) Required
- Master of Occupational Therapy Or
- Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Or
- Bachelor of Physical Therapy Degree Required
- Doctorate Degree Preferred
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
