POSITION OVERVIEW

The Tool Room Assistant supports and documents the   corporate tool room overflow with outside shops, receives completed tool room work, and delivers it to   internal   customer s .    This role is also responsible for   assisting   with incoming tool room work requests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Document Tool Room measures   tracking on   spreadsheets.

- Order custom components from outside machine shops.

- Create and resolve purchase requisitions for tool room orders.

- Answer questions about 3D CAD drawings from   supply   base.

- Track orders and coordinate with the project management team.

- Deliver completed work   to   internal customers.

- Develop working relationships with suppliers.

- Work with suppliers for quantity discounts and bulk   purchases .

- Research pricing and availability of components for Engineers and other personnel.

- Organize and keep track of standard tooling components with tool crib.

- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintaining   a   high   level   of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.

- Complying with   all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

- 2 +  years of experience   working with inventory tracking systems.

- Proficiency   in Microsoft Office.

- Experience   with   recordkeeping .

- Self-motivation .

- Must be available to work overtime as needed.

- Valid   driver's   license.

WHAT WILL HELP

- Experience   operati ng   a   stand-up or sit-down   lift truck   or fork truck .

- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical,   vacuum,   and   pneumatics   systems.

- Experience in AutoCAD and   Solidworks .
