Job Title: Order Entry Specialist Job Description
As an Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for managing order entry and fulfillment, ensuring efficient and timely processing. This role involves working with Excel and an in-house ERP system to track inventory and provide accurate updates to clients. Collaboration with various departments to enhance efficiency is a key aspect of this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage order entry and fulfillment processes.
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems to track inventory and update clients.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and site leadership to plan inventory and create daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Track equipment service needs and schedule maintenance for CapEx, vehicles, and forklifts.
- Assist and provide guidance to the dispatch team.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in order entry and data entry.
- Strong experience in Excel.
- 3+ years of logistics experience with a distribution company.
- Experience with inventory management, dispatch, order management, order processing, and order fulfillment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with logistics in a distribution environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Work Environment
This position offers a salaried role with a rotating shift every other week. The start time for week 1 is 6:30 AM and for week 2 is 9:00 AM. This opportunity provides a chance to join a national leader in the industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denville, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $38.46/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
