We specialize in providing reliable, proven, innovative, and life cycle cost-effective equipment solutions for municipal water and wastewater treatment. What you'll do:

- Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers.

- Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals.

- Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other related customer projects to meet deadlines.

- Attend product and selling skills seminars and participate in local industry associations and tradeshows.

- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the water and wastewater industry and product lines represented by the company.

- Utilize CRM for all prospecting and customer activities.

- Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.

- Work with the customers and to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.

- Communicate with the engineered sales team to understand consumer demand and offer sales support where necessary.

- Secure orders, guarantee product standards and ensure product delivery.

- Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.

- Help clients to solve problems with product usage.

What you bring:

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, a technical field, or a related discipline preferred.

- Previous experience in water/wastewater, industrial sales, field service, technical support, or a related industry preferred.

- Familiarity with municipal water and wastewater treatment plants or process equipment is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with plant operators, superintendents, and operations managers.

- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.

- Mechanical and technical aptitude with a willingness to learn water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately document field conditions and customer information.

- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, laptops, email, Microsoft Office, and basic photo/document management tools.

- Previous experience with CRM systems is a plus.

- Valid driver's license, clean MVR, and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays of up to 25%.

- Ability to work effectively with outside sales representatives, manufacturers, customers, contractors, and internal support teams.
