Job Title: Phase 1 Research Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - AMP Job Description The Phase I Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for performing patient evaluations, consults, and reviewing pretreatment for both standard care and clinical research patients. This role involves educating patients on therapeutic options through available liver clinical trials onsite, as well as performing specialized procedures and collaborating with physicians on patient diagnosis. The APP will counsel patients and their families, manage patient care, and oversee patient care in clinical trials, including performing safety medical reviews. Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and consults for standard care and clinical research patients.
- Educate patients on therapeutic options through available liver clinical trials onsite.
- Perform specialized procedures and work with MDs on patient diagnosis.
- Counsel patients and their families, collaborating with physicians for direct care interventions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and manage patient care.
- Oversee patient care in clinical trials and perform safety medical reviews.
- Work with clinical research coordinators and recruiters to complete visits and submit documentation.
- Complete detailed reviews of documentation for studies, charting, and informed consents.
- Communicate with research team members regarding studies and understand protocols.
- Manage study and patient from first visit to closeout.
Essential Skills
- Clinical Research
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program from an accredited institution
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with current RN and NP License or Graduate of a university program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education (ARCE) for the Physician Assistant with certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- License to practice in Arizona
- Completion of GCP and IATA trainings at hire
Work Environment The role is based onsite and requires working four 10-hour shifts per week, from Monday to Thursday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Health, Dental, Vision (with HSA plans and employer contribution)
