Position Summary
The Transport Utility Technician provides essential support for Mass Transit and fleet maintenance. This position performs a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks, including vehicle cleaning, parts pick, and preparing tires for installation along with any additional duties assigned. Technician will adhere to all safety functions of the shop area internally and externally. Technician must endure extreme hot and cold weather when needed. The Transport Utility Technician is under the supervision of the Transport Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Education
· High School Diploma or GED
Experience
· 6 months of vehicle experience
License/Registration/Certifications
· Valid Driver’s License

Core Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for overall fleet appearance and safety in transportation.
· Clean vehicles after service is completed.
· Conduct part runs when required and pick up vehicles from third parties.
· Prepare tires for installation on vehicles.
· Work in extreme weather conditions when necessary.
