About this role
We are seeking an experienced Technology Service Management Specialist to provide technical leadership, operational support, and modernization expertise for a complex test-lab environment. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operation of systems used across Ford’s Dynamometer Lab while helping evolve the technology foundation that keeps the lab running. You will troubleshoot test-bed hardware and software, partner with test engineers and vendors, and drive improvements ranging from incremental operational enhancements to full application and platform modernization.
This role combines technology service management, software engineering, cloud modernization, DevOps, and customer support. You will work with legacy Microsoft-based utilities, Java-based modernization solutions, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and CI/CD tools to improve service reliability, supportability, and delivery velocity.
