Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: American Fork, Utah (Only local candidates will be considered)
Schedule: Swing Shift / Graveyard Shift (schedule may include weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require)
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Compensation: $60-$70K

Position Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations during swing and/or graveyard shifts, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of inventory while leading a team across multiple shifts. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional system aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who promotes safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement while developing warehouse personnel.

Essential Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

- Supervise and lead warehouse employees across multiple shifts.

- Provide leadership by example through professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic.

- Deliver regular coaching, recognition, and constructive feedback to employees.

- Actively support employee development, training, and performance improvement.

- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.

- Ensure staffing levels and labor resources are effectively managed to meet operational demands.

Operations & Process Management

- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, Work Order processing, and material handling.

- Monitor productivity and operational performance to ensure service and accuracy objectives are met.

- Maintain adherence to established warehouse processes and standard operating procedures.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Ensure inventory transactions and warehouse system activities are completed accurately and timely.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.

- Ensure a safe working environment and address safety concerns immediately.

- Maintain high standards for quality, inventory accuracy, and operational dependability.

- Conduct routine audits to verify compliance with company policies and operational standards.

- Participate in investigations and corrective actions related to safety, quality, and inventory issues.

Qualifications

Required

- Previous warehouse supervision or leadership experience, 1-3 years.

- 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong systems aptitude and ability to quickly learn warehouse management systems and related technologies.

- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), data entry, reporting, and navigating multiple business systems simultaneously.

- Ability to analyze operational data, generate reports, and use computer-based tools to support warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and performance management.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Proven ability to manage and motivate employees across multiple shifts.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

- Valid driver's license.

- Ability to operate a forklift or obtain forklift certification as required.

Preferred

- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.

- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 30-50 pounds regularly.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

- Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures and frequent movement.

- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
